High School Fall Sports Wrap Up

The Varsity Cross Country team started their IHSA State Series with a 4th place team finish at IHSA Regionals. Jane Potter ’25 led the team with a 15th place finish in a time of 22:45. The team advanced to the IHSA Sectional Meet.

The Varsity Volleyball team started their IHSA State Series this week. In the first round of Regionals, the Eagles defeated the Waldorf School of Chicago 26-24 and 25-17. The IHSA recognized Ynah Caballero ’25 and Ariella Donahue ’24 as “Players of the Game!” In the Regional semi-finals, the Eagles defeated MCC Academy of Morton Grove 25-12 and 25-12. The IHSA recognized Emma Lizak ’24 as “Player of the Game!” The team ended their season with a loss against Schaumburg Christian in the IHSA Regional Championship game.

Middle School Fall Sports Wrap Up

Cross Country

Middle School Cross Country participated in the NWCC conference for the first time this season. At the NWCC Conference Meet, the 6th grade team finished in 6th place and each team member earned a PR (personal record) and the 7th & 8th grade team finished in 5th place. The team was led by Tess Constanzo who finished in 9th place. The team finished their season with the ISL Conference Meet and took 1st place! The team was led by Nora Leahy who took 2nd place overall!!

Volleyball

The 6th grade volleyball team ended their season with an overall 8-2 record. They finished in 1st place in the NWCC beating St. James head-to-head. The team had 16 players and they supported one another and worked hard every day!

The 7th grade volleyball team ended their regular season with a 5-5 record. They finished in 3rd place in the NWCC Silver Division. The 8th grade team finished their season with a big win over Our Lady of the Wayside with a final record of 1-9. The 7th & 8th grade teams are headed to playoffs! Go Eagles!
