About the Speaker
Doug Hinderer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a passion for helping couples build happy, lifelong marriages. After years of working with clients in private practice, Doug has shifted his focus to the airwaves as the host of Marriage Unhindered on Relevant Radio.
With 44 years of marriage to his incredible wife, Shirley, and the experience of raising 9 children and welcoming 8 (soon to be 9) grandchildren, Doug brings a wealth of both personal and professional insight into the complexities of marital relationships.
Doug earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. He is a regular speaker at the Willows Academy and has given presentations to the students for several years. At this event, he shared the contents of his talk to the students with the parents to encourage increased communication and conversation around these topics.
