Middle School Basketball
Our middle school basketball program boasts 3 full teams and a total of 32 girls in the program. The 6th grade team’s overall record was 8-6 and took 3rd place at the Christian Liberty Tournament. The 7th grade team’s overall record was 3-8 and the 8th grade team’s overall record was 8-4.
High School Basketball
Our high school basketball program consists of our JV and Varsity Teams. Our JV finished with a stellar 17-1 overall record.
Our varsity team finished with a 29-6 overall record, making a Willows Varsity record of most number of wins (29) in a season! This season, Coach Marver also earned her 100th coaching career win. The team had a 4-3 ISL Conference Record, finishing with 4th place standing in the ISL Conference. They won 1st place at the Harvard Thanksgiving Tournament and 1st place at the Willows Christmas Tournament. Junior Grace Lizak (’25) made 1st Team ISL All-Conference and scored her 1,000 career point – she finished the season with 1,025 career points. Maura Crimmins (’27) and Caroline Schuler (’25) earned Honorable Mention ISL All-Conference. Eagles were back-to-back IHSA Regional Champions!
High School Dance
This year, our Dance Team was the first ever IHSA competitive team for Willows! The program has two teams total: the competition team and the performance team.
Our Dance Team competed in 2 invites and improved both dances by 10 points. They performed two competition dances – Pom & Jazz. They performed a 3rd dance – Hip Hop – for senior night. They finished in 14th place out of 17 teams at IHSA Sectionals.
