Willows Academy offers a unique experience to immerse students from all over the world. We welcome students from other countries who seek a rigorous academic program and vibrant social environment. Our mission is to educate the whole person, to prepare young women to become confident and make a difference in the world. Living abroad can be challenging, so we have designed a program to support our international students and enjoy their time in the United States.

Academic Program

At Willows Academy, we welcome international students to an academically rigorous environment where academic excellence and personal growth go hand in hand. Through full immersion in our classrooms, extracurricular activities, and community, students naturally develop their English language skills by learning, living, and growing alongside native English-speaking peers. Our dedicated faculty and staff are deeply committed to supporting each student’s success. With small class sizes and a personalized approach, international students receive the care, encouragement, and structure needed to strengthen their English in a supportive, real-world context.

Family Life

We want all of our international students to feel at home and be part of our community. To achieve this, Willows families host international students and take them in as one of their own. We make it a priority to fully understand the student and her background in order to match her with the right host family.

Throughout the year we explore the wonderful city of Chicago. Chicago is one of the most iconic cities in the United States, known for its stunning architecture, world-class museums, and deep-dish pizza. Chicago is a dynamic city full of history, flavor, and creativity—an exciting place for international students to explore. We offer a rich cultural experience that our students will never forget.

2025-26 Tuition and fees

  • High School Tuition  $21,000 (Semester  $10,500, Quarter $5,250)
  • Middle School Tuition $16,000 (Semester $8,000, Quarter $4,000)
  • Comprehensive Fee $1,850 (Semester $1,000, Quarter $600)
  • Field Trip Fee $1,500 (Semester $1,000, Quarter $500)
  • Homestay Fee $14,000 (Semester $7,000, Quarter $3,000)

*Comprehensive fee covers athletics, extracurriculars, clubs, textbooks, technology and other student activities.
