We are saddened to share the news of the passing of Mickey Keenley, Willows past parent (Mary ’81), past administrator, teacher, advisor, and friend.
Mickey and her husband, Bob, were among the founding families of Willows. Mickey began teaching at Willows in 1975 and led the school as director from 1983-1995. Over the years Mickey taught history, math, economics, and theology and served as an advisor to many.
Visitation will be held Friday April 28, 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd., (at Northwest Highway) Mt. Prospect, IL 60056. The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, April 29, 10:00 a.m. Theresa Church, 455 N. Benton St., Palatine, IL 60067 Interment All Saints Cemetery, 700 N. River Road Des Plaines, IL 60016. In the lieu of flowers, the Keenley has requested memorials may be made to Willows.
