Hard work?

Several of my friends attend a local Catholic high school that boasts about its “advisory program.” But I have heard that only a very few students get any attention. At The Willows, do advisors really spend time working with every student?

What About Boys

Yes, advisors spend lots of time working with every student. Your advisor will meet with you at least once per month. Your advisor will become your friend and advocate. She will guide you in academics, but she will also see that you are involved in activities and getting along socially.

Last year two teachers left The Willows to stay home with newborn babies, but they stayed on as volunteer advisors because they were so close to their advisees. After you graduate, it is very likely that you will remain friends and keep in touch with your advisor.
