Front Office Receptionist

Willows Academy is seeking a Front Office Receptionist who will manage the the front office, answer school phone calls, monitor the building entrance, and assist with administrative duties from 7:15am-2:45pm daily.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Polite and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to multitask and focus on work with frequent distractions and interruptions
  • Understanding of teenagers and parents
  • Understands importance of confidentiality and discretion in a school environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google software
  • Confident with first aid and with response to emergency situation (EpiPen, incident reporting, calling 911)
  • Certified (or able to become certified) in CPR and AED
  • Cheerful and calm

Front Office Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and represent Willows Academy to guests by answering questions, facilitating appointments, locating personnel, and handling situations as they arise.
  • Answer telephone, assist callers, take messages, transfer to appropriate personnel.
  • Record and document absences/late arrivals/early dismissals. Maintain attendance records.
  • Monitor visitors entering and exiting building; responsible for safety and order of building entryway.
  • Receive mail and distribute to appropriate mailboxes; receive and sign for deliveries.
  • Monitor activity and cleanliness of the atrium. Maintain order before and after school.
  • Post letters on request from teachers, staff, and administration.
  • Assist with administrative duties as delegated by Admissions, Development, and Administration.
  • Assist in all school safety drills.
  • Order school supplies, assist with coordination of hospitality in school.
  • Assist ill or injured students and adults; prepare incident documentation.
  • Empty lost and found receptacles quarterly and display in atrium for students to claim lost items.  Discard/donate uncollected items

Afternoon Front Office Receptionist

Willows Academy is seeking an Afternoon Front Office Receptionist who will answer school phone calls, monitor the building entrance, and supervise students in the atrium from 2:30pm-6:00pm daily.

Employee Benefits/Financial Administrator

Willows Academy is seeking an Employee Benefits/Financial Administrator who will focus primarily on Human Resources while assisting with other business functions.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage Willows’ employee benefits programs including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, life, and short and long-term disability insurance. Additional benefits managed include 401(k), Health Reimbursement Accounts, extended health coverage, leaves of absence, paid time off, and others.
  • Assist and support General Manager with business office functions.
  • Assist with Accounts Payable.
  • Assist with payroll process.
  • Assist with tuition management.

Requirements

  • BA or BS in Human Resources or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.Demonstrated thorough understanding of employee benefits plan design and administration and legal requirements for benefit plans (e.g. FMLA, FLSA, ERISA).
  • Ability to identify and solve problems, and to identify trends and develop and implement solutions.
  • Excellent critical thinking, customer service, project management, communications, and follow up skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, good level of creativity, able to multi- task, and develop and implement structure and process.
  • Well experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software, TADS Tuition Management System, Paylocity or other third-party payroll service provider is desired.
  • CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) or working toward CEBS certification preferred.

Head Middle School Basketball Coach

Description:
